EDINBORO, Pa. (November 1, 2013) – Hosting its second meet of the season, the Edinboro men's swimming team could not top Malone on Friday evening, losing 123-74. They won three of the 11 events.

Josh Beabout was the lone Fighting Scot to win multiple events. In the 400 yard individual medley, Beabout posted a 4:28.27 time to lead the pack and he also won in the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 4:57.08. The 200 yard freestyle relay team consisting of Beabout, Justin Ransel, Chad Murphy, and Frank Thatcher defeated Malone's foursome by over five seconds. For Malone, Chris Misak and Christoph Eckard each won two individual races and were a part of the 200 yard medley relay team that won.

The Fighting Scots next meet is next Saturday, November 9 when they travel to Bloomsburg. The meet is set to begin at 2:00 p.m. as Edinboro will look to defeat a Huskies team that has lost by over 100 points in each meet thus far.
