LOCK HAVEN, Pa. (Sept. 13, 2015) – The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference today released its second weekly set of PSAC Football Players of the Week, with Edinboro's
Austin Reese (Orchard Park, NY/Orchard Park) being named the PSAC West Special Teams Player of the Week.

Other PSAC West award recipients included Mercyhurst's Brendan Boylan as Offensive Player of the Week and Richardo Housen of Seton Hill as Defensive Player of the Week. In the PSAC East, Kutztown's Kellen Williams was named the Offensive Player of the Week, Joe Wetty of Bloomsburg the Defensive Player of the Week, and Shippensburg's Billy Deane the Special Teams Player of the Week.
Reese is in his first season as Edinboro's placekicker and punter after transferring from Saint Francis(Pa.) and sitting out the 2014 season. In Saturday's 20-13 loss to Shippensburg, he became the first Edinboro to make two field goals in a game since 2013 when T.J. Hardy made a pair against Seton Hill. Reese made good on kicks of 27 and 43 yards.
The 43-yarder was the first field goal of 40-or-more yards by an Edinboro kicker since Sean Seefeldt's 42-yarder against Slippery Rock in 2012.
Reese also averaged 33.0 yards on six punts in windy and late-game rainy conditions. He had one kick inside the 20 and just one punt was returned.
The sophomore has now made 3-of-4 field goal attempts in two games. In addition, he is averaging 38.2 yards on 12 punts, with four inside the 20 and three fair catches.
