ERIE, Pa. -- Playing in three matches in three days in tough. The Edinboro women's tennis team found this out with a 9-0 setback to visiting Indiana(Pa.) on Thursday afternoon.
The Crimson Hawks (14-5, 5-0 PSAC)Â are the No. 1 team in the Atlantic Region and undefeated in PSAC play. The Fighting Scots fell to 8-10, and 2-3 in the PSAC.
Edinboro dropped all three doubles matches to fall behind 3-0. IUP picked up a pair of 8-2 wins and an 8-1 win at the top doubles spot. In singles,
Roxana Yeh looked like she might get the Fighting Scots on the board, but fell 6-3, 6-4.
Edinboro returns to the court for their fourth match in four days on Friday, April 13 when they host Seton Hill (6-9, 2-3 PSAC).Â
