Men's Swimming Collects 13 Medals in Loss at Gannon

The Short Story: The Edinboro men's swimming team set PSAC Championship qualifying times among six different events in Friday's loss at Gannon. Of the seven times recorded, sophomore Michael Kocher was responsible for three of them. The Fighting Scots fall to Kocher won the 200-yard Backstroke with a time of 1:59.17. The only other Scot to capture gold was Nick Bradford who finished first in the 100-yard Breaststroke at 1:03.24. Overall, Edinboro ended the night with 13 medals.

EVENT NOTES

Edinboro ended the night capturing gold in two events, silver in six events, and bronze in five events.
Six Fighting Scots recorded seven PSAC Championship qualifying times across six events. Michael Kocher was responsible for three of the seven PSAC-qualifying marks, which came in the 100-yard Backstroke, 200-yard Backstroke, and 200-yard IM.
Head coach Chris Rhodes was pleased with the men and women's swimming teams' performance against the Knights. "(We performed) extremely well, Rhodes said. "Even though we lost, I was so excited on how we swam."

Edinboro hosts Clarion on Senior Day. The Fighting Scots final dual this season is scheduled for Friday, January 25 at 6:00 p.m. in the McComb Natatorium.
