BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – Nick Bradford and Noah Frederick placed first on Friday night as the Edinboro men's swimming team suffered a 119-74 loss at Bloomsburg. Edinboro is now 1-2 on the young season while Bloomsburg evened its record at 3-2.
Bradford posted a time of 1:59.15 to win the 200-yard IM. Frederick touched first in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1.02.60.
In addition, Edinboro picked up a win the 200-yard freestyle relay, recording a time of 1:32.03. The relay team consisted of Jackson Bangert, Michael Kocher, Kevin Morgan, and Richard Certuche.
Gerardo Ruiz picked up second place finishes in the 200-year freestyle with a time of 1:49.61 and the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 53.84. Bangert also picked up a second place finish in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 52.32.
The Fighting Scots had five swimmers register PSAC-qualifying marks. They included:
