EDINBORO, Pa. -- The Edinboro University Student-Athlete Advisory Committee wrapped up their final service initiative of the fall semester by partnering with the Edinboro Kiwanis Club and Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church for their annual Toy Drive. The toy drive is a joint venture with the goal of providing Christmas gifts for local children served by the Edinboro Food Bank.

The SAAC Committee spent the past two weeks collecting monetary donations from their teammates, coaches, athletic trainers and athletic administration for the toy drive. On Sunday, December 8, members of SAAC went to local stores and selected gifts for boys and girls of various ages. The next day, members of the committee dropped the gifts off at the church and volunteered with the wrapping of gifts for over 80 local families in need.
