Football, Wrestling Continues Tradition of Helping at Fishing Derby

EDINBORO, Pa. -- The opening day of trout season is always a monumental day in northwest Pennsylvania. The borough of Edinboro celebrates it with the annual Fishing Derby, and in recent years it has become a tradition for the Edinboro football team to pitch in. Members of the football team, along with members of the wrestling team, helped to make Saturday, April 13 a little more special for young anglers as they assisted in Edinboro's annual Fishing Derby. A large crowd showed up on the first day of trout season, and that included a good number of Fighting Scots gridders and grapplers.
