Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro wrestling team fell 26-11 to visiting Clarion Saturday night in MAC dual action inside McComb Fieldhouse.
Clarion jumped out 7-0 with a major decision at 125 and a decision at 133.
Gabe Willochell got the Scots on the board with a 12-8 decision over Seth Koleno at 141.
The Golden Eagles took the next four bouts including bonus points at 149 and 174 to take a 23-3 lead.
Ethan Ducca stopped the Clarion run scoring a take down and then holding off Max Wahlabaugh to claim a 4-2 decision.
Cody Mulligan scored a 17-1 tech fall at the 4:05 mark of the match to cut the deficit to 23-11. Clarion claimed a 5-0 decision at 285 to close out the dual.
The Fighting Scots will celebrate senior day Sunday at 11 a.m. when they host Bloomsburg.
