Erie, Pa. – The Edinboro men's tennis team put themselves back in the winning column after defeating West Chester University, 7-0 in dominant fashion Saturday afternoon at the Westwood Racquet Club. With the win Edinboro improves to (6-5) overall. 

The Fighting Scots remained persistent throughout the match, refusing to give up a single set win to the Golden Rams. West Chester never surpassed four points in any set of doubles and singles play. 

In singles play Bruno Sabio kicked things off in the first match by sweeping his opponent Andre Zequeira 6-0, 6-0. Ruben Acuna followed with a 6-2, 6-2, victory over Felix Weber, and his tenth win of the season. Gustavo Martins kept the pattern going with his 6-3, 6-2 win over Chris Succi.  

Thibault Dorval took a clean sweep over Cesar Dejesus-morale 6-0, 6-0. Kaio Sacchi grabbed a win over Christoph Baroudi 6-4, 6-2. In the final singles match, Maksymilian Braziewicz concluded the singles sweep with his 6-2, 6-0 win over Sam Robertson.  

In doubles, Edinboro would clinch the point by winning all three matches. The dominant duo of Sacchi and Acuna remained unbeaten when they defeated Robertson and Baroudi 6-0.  

Sabio and Rocco Palombarini were victorious over Zequeira and Succi 6-2. Dorval and Braziewicz took care of business when they defeated Weber and Dejesus-morale 6-1. 

Edinboro continues their home stretch when they host Millersville on Sunday afternoon.
