Greensburg, Pa. -- The Edinboro softball team dropped both halves of a PSAC West twinbill at Seton Hill on Monday afternoon.
In game one, the Scots dropped a 9-1 decision in five innings before dropping the nightcap 6-0.
In the opener, Seton Hill took advantage of a Scot error to put up three runs in the bottom of the first. Edinboro answered back with a run in the top of the second.
Stephanie Krick started the inning with a one-out double.
Maura Pasquale followed with an RBI triple, but she was stranded at third making the score 3-1 Griffins.Â
Seton Hill added two runs in the second and two in the third to extend the lead to 7-1. A run in the fourth and another in the fifth invoked the run rule ending the game at 9-1.
Pasquale was 2-for-2 with an RBI to lead the offense.
Dylan Claycomb took the loss in the circle going 4.2 innings allowing nine runs, seven earned, with a strikeout.
In game two, the Griffins jumped out to a 3-0 lead again in the first inning. They would tack on three more in the fifth to set the final.Â

Elizabeth Clark and
Kayla Terwilliger each tallied a hit for the Scots.
Macy Sral took the loss on the rubber giving up six runs, three earned, in six innings of work.
The Scots are back in action on Friday when they host Pitt-Johnstown. First pitch is slated for 2:30 p.m.
