Fairmont, Wv. – The Edinboro men's tennis team posted another dominant shutout as they defeated non-conference opponent Fairmont State University 4-0, on Sunday afternoon. With the win Edinboro improves to (9-5) overall and remains at the top of the PSAC conference.  

Edinboro gained the upper hand early as they clinched doubles with two of three match wins. The duo of Rocco Palombarini and Bruno Sabio got past Bartosz Losiak and Elia Barozzi 6-3. Thibault Dorval and Maksymilian Braziewicz helped clinch doubles for the Scots as they defeated Seena Saadevandi and Alex Stacy 6-1. 

In singles Edinboro continued their dominant trend as they won three straight matches ultimately clinching the win. Sabio defeated Losiak in a close one 1-6, 7-6, 6-4. Up next Ruben Acuna took down Barozzi 6-2, 3-6, 7-5. Gustavo Martins concluded the match with his 4-6, 6-2, 6-4 victory over Saadevandi. 

Kaio Sacchi, Dorval and Braziewicz and had unfinished matches in singles. 

Edinboro will be back in action next Friday when they travel to Bloomsburg University.
