Altamonte Springs, Fla. -- The Edinboro men's tennis team had their season come to an end with a 4-0 loss to two-time defending national champions Barry University Wednesday afternoon in the NCAA Championship Round of 16.

In doubles action, the Buccaneer duo of Arnau Rodriguez and Alejandro Gallego won 6-2 over Maksymillian Braziewicz and Thidbault Dorval. Alessandro Giuliato and Hugo Cazaban secured the doubles point for Barry with a 6-2 victory over Kaio Sacchi and Ruben Acuna.

Barry extended their lead to 2-0 with a 6-0, 6-3 win from Ignasi Forcano over Dorval. Martin Gutierrez topped Rocco Palombarini 6-1, 6-1 and Alessandro Giuliato closed out the match with a 6-1, 6-0 victory at number three singles.
