Clarion, Pa. -- The Edinboro wrestling team dropped a 28-12 decision to host Clarion Friday night in MAC dual meet action.

After falling behind early, Nick Lodato got the Scots on the board defeating Austin Chapman 3-1.

The Golden Eagles jumped out 4-0 when John Worthing major decisioned Joey Arnold at 174. Will Feldkamp extended the lead with a second period pin of Jack Kilner. Ty Bagoly made it 13-0 with a 3-2 decision over Cody Mulligan.

At 125, Joey Fischer scored a 2-0 decision over Aiden Lewis to push the Clarion lead to 16-3. Logan Jaquay cut the advantage to 16-6 with a 10-7 decision over Mason Prinkey. Amonn Ohl was leading 6-0, but Seth Koleno turned the bout around scoring a fall to make it 22-6.

Ryan Burgos tallied a 7-4 decision over Kyle Schickel to trim the advantage to 22-9. Luke Kemerer picked up the fourth win of the night for the Fighting Scots scoring a 6-1 decision over Trevor Elfvin at 157. Cam Pine from Clarion closed out the match with a fall over Alex Garee.
