Greensburg, Pa. -- The Edinboro football team makes the trip to Greensburg to take on Seton Hill Saturday afternoon at Offutt Field.

The Fighting Scots are now 2-6 overall and 1-4 in the PSAC West after falling 34-20 to visiting Clarion Saturday at Sox Harrison Stadium.
Teagan Brown led the Edinboro offense hauling in 10 passes for 154 yards and a touchdown.
Isaac Bernard was 30-of-47 for 324 yards and two touchdowns. Amani Bailey had the opening touchdown catch for the Scots while
Brian Trobel added a fourth quarter rushing score. Â
CJ Waldier led the team in tackles making 13 total stops.
Career Day
Teagan Brown caught 10 passes for 154 yards and a touchdown. It was the first time a Fighting Scot pass catcher has topped 150 yards since TaNauz Gregory had 169 against Slippery Rock on Oct. 19, 2019.
Honor Roll
Through seven weeks of play the Scots have earned three PSAC West Athlete of the Week honors.
Toby Cline was named the PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Week in Week 5. Cline intercepted a pair of Mercyhurst passes while also breaking up a pass in the end zone and recording five tackles in the win.
Reed Martin is the other Scot to earn PSAC West honors this season earning Special Teams Athlete of the Week honors for his performances against Bloomsburg and Cal.
Hidden Yardage
On the season Martin is averaging 40.5 yards per punt which ranks 34th in Division II.Â
The Scot coverage team has held opponents to just 1.6 yards per return ranking second in the PSAC with the longest return of the season being a muffed kick that went for a three-yard return. The Scots net punting is a PSAC-best 38.3 yards per punt ranking 13th in the country.
Opportunistic Defense
The Edinboro defense has pounced on eight fumbles which is the second most in the PSAC and eighth most in D-II.
CJ Waldier has recovered two of those fumbles ranking second in the PSAC and seventh in the nation.
Defensive Leader
CJ Waldier has also been the Scots leading tackler with 79 total tackles. He ranks third in the PSAC and 10th in the country with 9.9 stops per game. He also ranks leads the conference and 14th in the nation in solo tackles with 5.4 per contest.

Scouting the Griffins
The Griffins are 3-5 overall and 2-3 in PSAC West play after earning a 25-28 victory over IUP on Saturday. In a tie game, Seton Hill went 73 yards in six plays capped by a Hayden Teska 35-yard pass to Cody Rubrecht  to set the final. Teska finished the day 14-of-22 for 259 yards, three touchdowns and a pick. Ky'Ron Craggette rushed for 143 yards and two scores. Mark Bails led the receiving corps with four catches for 99 yards. Monte Pratt led the Griffin defense with 11 tackles incluidng 10 solo stops. David Awuah chipped in nine tackles.
