Columbus, Ohio – The Edinboro wrestling team dropped its first dual of the season 53-0 to host Ohio State Sunday afternoon at the Covelli Center.
 
125 Ohio State's Brendan McCrone scored a fall in 1:05 over Caleb Edwards.
 
133 Nick Bouzakis scored first and Jacob Brenneman scored the escape. After three minutes Bouzakis led 9-2. Brenneman got out to start the second. Bouzakis would score two more takedowns and Brenneman one escape to make 15-4 after two. Another takedown and the riding time point made it 20-4 Bouzakis.
141 Jesse Mendez scored a fall over Anthony Ferraro in 1:06 to extend the Ohio State lead to 17-0
 
149 Dylan D'Emilio scored a fall over Steffan Lynch at the 58 second mark of the first to make it 23-0.
 
157 The Buckeyes scored another fall at 157 when Paddy Gallagher scored a fall of Colin Roberts at the 2:15 mark of the first.
 
165 Joey Arnold fell behind Isaac Wilcox 10-1 after the first. Wilcox would score the second period tech fall by a score of 21-4.
 
174 Gabe Stafford dropped a 21-5 tech fall to Carson Kharchla in the second period.
 
184 Brody Evans went the distance against Seth Shumate. He trailed 9-2 after one and scored a pair of escapes in the second before the final was set 18-4 in the third.
 
197 Jack Kilner dropped a 20-2 tech fall in the second period to Ohio State's Luke Geog.
 
285  Nick Lodato bumped back up to heavyweight and dropped a 23-6 decision to Nick Feldman in the second period.
 
The Scots are back in action on Saturday when they travel to the Navy Classic.
