Fairfield, Conn. – The Edinboro wrestling team tallied bonus points in four of their seven bout to victories to claim a 27-14 dual victory over Sacred Heart.

The match started at 141 with Anthony Ferraro scoring a 6-3 decision over Chris Naegele. Ferraro got on the board first with an escape, but was taken down to fall behind 3-1. Ferraro would grab the lead with a takedown of his own making it 4-3 after one. Ferraro scored an escape and a stall point in the second to set the final.

Colin Roberts kept the momentum going. After a scoreless first period, Roberts opened the scoring with an escape in the second. He would extend the lead to 4-0 with a takedown. Michael McGhee trimmed the lead to 4-1 with an escape to start the third, but a pair of takedowns and the riding time point gave Roberts an 11-2 major decision.
