Lock Haven, Pa. – The Edinboro wrestling team dropped a 29-9 decision to host Lock Haven Thursday night in MAC action.
The dual opened at 125 pounds where No. 11 Anthony Noto gave Lock Haven a 6-0 lead with a fall over
Eamonn Jimenez in 2:46.
Cameron Soda battled for the Scots at 133 but was on the short end of a 3-2 decision against No. 31 Gabe Strickland.
At 141, Sean Logue scored a 13-4 major over Amon Ohl pushing the Lock Haven advantage to 13-0. Nick Stonecheck posted a 4-0 decision over Jake Pail and Ashton Eyler decisioned
Luke Kemerer 4-2 to make it 19-0 Bald Eagles at the halfway point.
Alex Garee dropped a 2-0 decision to No. 32 Avery Bassett extending the Lock Haven lead to 22-0.
Jared McGill got Edinboro on the board scoring a 4-2 decision over Tyler Stoltzfus at 174. In the 184 pound bout, Colin Fegley tallied a 6-0 decision over
Jack Kilner.
The Scots picked up a win at 197 as
Cody Mulligan scored a fall over John Miller in 4:33 to make the score 25-9. The dual ended with Isaac Reid picking up a 12-3 major over
Nick Lodato.
The Scots return to action on Friday when they travel to Bloomsburg for a 7 p.m. dual with the Huskies.
