Tulsa, Okla. – Ryan Burgos made his first appearance in at the NCAA Championships dropping a pair of matches in Tulsa on Thursday.
 
Burgos drew the ninth seeded Jaden Abas of Stanford in his opening match. Burgos got on the board first scoring a takedown then earning a pair of near fall points to go ahead 4-0. Abas scored a reversal and did enough to score the fall over Burgos at 2:56.
 
In his consolation match, Burgos dropped an 8-1 decision to Caleb Tyus of SIU Edwardsville. Burgos finished his season 16-7 overall.
