Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro wrestling team announced the addition of 12 student-athletes for the 2023-24 season.
 
Jacob Brenneman
The Accident, Md. native posted a career record of 134-3 while wrestling at Northern Garrett High School. Brenneman is currently ranked 13^th in the 132-pound weight class by FloWrestling. He is a four-time Maryland State Champion and is projected to wrestle at 141 for the Fighting Scots.
 
Brody Evans
Evans, a Dilliner, Pa. native, wrestled at Mapleton and Waynesburg High School amassing a 78-32 overall record. He finished third in the 2023 PIAA AAA Championships. He has twice finished in the top 10 at the Powerade wrestling tournament finishing seventh and eighth. He is projected at either 174 or 184 for the Fighting Scots.
 
Anthony Ferraro
The Valencia, Pa. native finished his high school career with a 125-23 record at Pine-Richland. The two-time state qualifier, finished third in at the PIAA AAA Championship in 2023. Ferraro is projected to wrestle at 133 at Edinboro.
 
Hunter Hutcheson
Hutcheson is a native of Mansfield, Ohio. While wrestling at Madison Comprehensive, Hutcheson posted a 148-36 overall record. He is a two-time OHSAA place-winner finishing fourth in 2023 and fifth in 2022. He is projected to wrestle at 174 or 184 for the Scots.
 
Hunter Johnson
A native of Lewistown, Pa., Johnson posted a 75-27 record at Mifflin County High School. He was a two-time PIAA state qualifier including a third place finish in the AAA Championships. Johnson is projected to wrestle 125 at Edinboro.
 
Abe Keep
Keep is a Girard, Pa. native. He finished his high school career with a 114-34 overall record at Girard. He was fourth in PIAA AA in 2022 and sixth in 2023. He is projected to wrestle 197 for the Scots.
 
Michael Kreinbucher
Kreinbucher Is a native of Butler, Pa. He turned in a 77-31 overall record while wrestling at Butler High School. He is projected to wrestle at 184 at Edinboro.
 
Steffan Lynch
The North East, Pa. native posted an 86-33 overall record while wrestling at North East High School. In 2023, Lynch finished seventh at the PIAA AA Championships. He is projected to wrestle 149 or 157 for the Fighting Scots.
 
Eli Makel
The Waynesburg, Pa. native posted a 124-39 record at Waynesburg High School. He finished second at the Powerade Wrestling Tournament and was fourth in the 2023 PIAA AAA Championships. He is projected at 197 at Edinboro.
 
Aden Roe
Roe is a native of Newtown, Pa. He split his high school career between Council Rock and Kiski Area High Schools. He posted a 66-33 overall record in his high school career. He finished fourth at the Prep School Nationals. He was eighth at the Powerade Wrestling Tournament and seventh at Escape the Rock. He is projected to wrestle at heavyweight for the Scots.
 
Colin Roberts
The Austintown, Ohio native, turned in a 189-30 record while wrestling at Austintown Fitch High School. He was named an All-American by both Fargo and United World Wrestling. He is transferring from Ohio University with three years of eligibility remaining. He is projected to wrestle at 149 or 157.
 
Gabe Stafford
Stafford is a Canonsburg, Pa. native. He tallied a 100-48 overall record at Cannon-McMilan High School. He finished fifth at the Powerade Wrestling Tournament. He is projected to wrestle at 174 or 184 at Edinboro.
