Meadville, Pa. – The Edinboro men's tennis team won 9-0 over host Allegheny Monday in their first dual match of the season.
The Scots swept the doubles matches with Noel Stanislas and
Thibault Dorval winning number three 8-0.
Gordan Fran Mileusnic and
Fabricio Sosa Pons teamed up for an 8-1 win at number two while
Bruno Sabio and
Rocco Palombarini were 8-6 winners at top flight doubles.
Mileusnic defeated Anton Hedlund 7-5, 7-5 to take top flight singles. Stanislas went 6-1, 6-3 over David Rodriguez at number two.
Dorval blanked Will Jarvie 6-0, 6-0 to win number three singles.
Gustavo Martins picked up the win over Kaibas Benedek 6-1, 6-3.
Thomas Buchard was a 6-2, 6-1 winner at number five singles and Pons rounded out the sweep with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Nathan Kisiel at number six singles.
The Scots are back in action at the ITA Regionals in Bloomsburg on Thursday.
