Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro wrestling team fell 43-3 to visiting Clarion Sunday afternoon in MAC Dual action inside McComb Fieldhouse.

Joey Fischer jumped out to a 9-0 lead after one over Caleb Edwards. The Clarion wrestler chose neutral, scored another takedown before Edwards scored an escape. Fischer tallied a takedown and four nearfall points to score the 19-1 tech fall.

Eamonn Jimenez bumped up to 133 against TJ England. He trailed 6-1 heading to the third before England scored a reversal and tallied a fall at 5:55.

Ryan Sullivan jumped out to a 14-3 lead on Jacob Brenneman after one. Brenneman scored a second period takedown, but eventually Sullivan tallied the 24-9 tech fall victory.

Kyle Schickel scored a takedown and Colin Roberts an escape to make it 3-1 after the first. Schickel scored six nearfall points in the second before scoring seven points in the third on his way to a 17-3 major decision.

After a scoreless first period, Eli Brinsky scored a reversal and Max Kirby and escape to make it 2-1 after two. Kirby escaped early in the third, but Brinsky picked up the riding time point and the 3-2 decision.

Joey Arnold and John Worthing wrestled to a 0-0 tie after one, but Worthing scored a reversal in the second and a pair of takedowns in the third to score a 9-1 major decision.

Brody Evans found himself trailing 3-2 to Cam Pine after the first period. Pine scored five points in the second on his way to a 13-4 major decision.

Jack Kilner scored an escape to take a 1-0 lead after two periods of wrestling. Ethan Wiant scored an escape to start the third, but Kilner scored a takedown and then picked up a point after an escape after injury time to claim a 5-1 decision for the Scots.
