Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro wrestling team returns to McComb Fieldhouse with a MAC dual against SIUE at 7 p.m. on Friday as well as hosting the Bobby Kauffman Open on Sunday.
Last Time Out
Edinboro come out of the holiday break after a three dual road trip to the east coast. The Scots went 1-2 in those three duals scoring a win over Sacred Heart and fell to Long Island University and Hofstra.

Bobby Kauffman Memorial Open
This is the second annual Bobby Kauffman Memorial Wrestling Open. The open will take place on Sunday, Jan. 7 inside McComb Fieldhouse with wrestling starting at 10:30 a.m. In 1986, Bobby Kauffman won an NCAA Championship at 150 pounds for the Fighting Scots and head coach Mike DeAnna. After Bobby's passing in 2020, Coach DeAnna and teammates wanted to honor him with a lasting scholarship. The open was founded to directly support and grow the Bobby Kauffman Memorial Endowed Scholarship.
The Field
The Bobby Kauffman Open field will feature wrestlers from 15 Division I schools with nearly 150 wrestlers set to compete. The Scots will have 15 wrestlers set to compete on Sunday.
