Kent, Ohio – The Edinboro wrestling team put three wrestlers on the podium Saturday at the MAC Championships hosted in Kent Ohio.
Nick Lodato placed seventh at 285 while
Jack Kilner and
Jacob Brenneman each finished in eighth at 197 and 141 respectively.

Lodato started his tournament by pinning John Meyers in 4:17. In the quarters, Lodato fell to Bryan Caves of Central Michigan. In his first consolation match, Lodato picked up a 6-4 decision over Tyler McCatharn of Bloomsburg before dropping a 4-1 decision to Donovan Sprouse of George Mason. In the seventh-place match, Lodato met Meyers again this time scoring a 10-5 decision.

In his opening match, Brenneman scored a 10-4 decision over Caleb Brooks of Buffalo. In the quarters, Lock Haven's Wyatt Henson scored a 21-6 tech fall over Brenneman. Brenneman turned around and scored a tech fall of his own, 20-4, over Aidan Waszak of Ohio. Brenneman fell to Dominic Hargrove of George Mason and then Brooks tallied an 11-5 decision over Brenneman in the seventh-place match.

Kilner dropped his quarterfinal match 2-1 to Blake Schaffer of Kent State. He bounced back with a 7-3 decision over Kolby Flank of Bloomsburg. Kilner dropped a 2-0 decision to Azeem Bell of Rider and a 4-1 sudden victory decision to Ethan Wiant to finish eighth.
