Erie, Pa. – The Edinboro men's tennis team opened PSAC play with a 7-0 victory over visiting West Chester Friday night at Westwood Racquet Club.
The Scots won all three doubles matches with the number one team of Gordon Mileusnic and
Fabricio Sosa Pons recording a 6-2 win over Felix Weber and Brady Burns.
Bruno Sabio and
Rocco Palombarini were 7-5 winners at second flight and
Thomas Buchard and
Manav Sreekumar earned a 6-2 victory.
In singles action, Sabio defeated Lucas Henke 6-0, 6-1 at number one singles. Mileusnic earned a 6-1, 6-1 win over Andres Urrutica at number two.
Sanislas Noel defeated Burns 6-3, 6-2 in the third flight singles. Buchard topped Weber 6-1, 6-3.
Thibault Dorval was a 6-0, 6-1 victor at number five over Cesar De Jesus Morale while
Gustavo Martins rounded out the win with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Andrew Poprik at number six.
The Scots are back in action on Saturday when they host Millersville on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Westwood.
