Nate Deanes and women's swimming's
Katelyn Reott were named Rebich Investments Fighting Scots of the Week Tuesday afternoon.
Deanes was all over the field for the Scots as they stifled Seton Hill in a 22-6 victory on Saturday. He finished the day with nine solo tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery he returned for a touchdown. In the first quarter, Seton Hill appeared to convert a third down to advance the ball into the red zone, but Deanes put his helmet on the ball and
Montrice Webster recovered giving the Scots possession. In the fourth, Deanes was in the right spot when Ky'Ron Craggette fumbled scooping the ball and taking it back 70 yards for a touchdown to push the Edinboro lead to 22-0.
Reott helped women's swimming split a tri-meet with Kutztown and Bloomsburg winning the 50-freestyle in a time of 24.34 a PSAC qualifying mark. She was also a member of two first place relay teams with the 200-medley relay finishing in 1:48.86 and the 200-freestyle relay team checking in at 1:39.08.
