Jared McGill recorded back-to-back falls to lift the Edinboro wrestling team to a 25-17 victory Thursday night in MAC dual action inside McComb Fieldhouse.

Nick Lodato were scoreless after the first period with Lodato getting on the board with an escape in the second. Lyons escaped at the start of the third to tie the score and earned the 4-1 decision with a takedown with 19 seconds remaining.

Daniel Buckanvich kept the Vikings going scoring a takedown of
Aden Roe 26 seconds into the first. He rode out the first and opened the second with a reversal to push his lead to 5-0. A second stall call on Roe made it 6-0 heading to the third. Bucknavich scored a takedown in the third and picked up the riding time point to earn the major decision.

At 125, Cleveland State's Ben Aranda used a pair of first period takedowns to build a 6-2 lead.
Chris Vargo cut the lead to 6-3 after a quick second period escape, but a four-point third delivered Aranda a 10-3 decision.

Colton Camacho got the Scots on the board. He scored a takedown with just 14 seconds left in the opening period to grab a 3-0 lead. Jake Manley reversed Camacho to start the second, but Camacho tallied a reversal of his own to go up 5-2. After a Manely escape, Camacho scored another late-period takedown to extend his advantage to 8-3 after two. Camacho notched another reversal to start the third and used a stall point and the riding time point to close out the 12-4 major decision.

Anthony Ferraro tipped the scales in favor of the Fighting Scots getting to his offense early with a takedown and four near-fall points to take a 7-0 lead after the first. He got out quick in the second and then scored another takedown before putting Ethan Mitchell on his back for the fall in 4:08 to level the dual at 10-10 at the intermission.

Colin Roberts trailed AJ Parish 1-0 heading to the final period, but Roberts tied the score with an escape just 10 seconds into the final frame. Roberts notched the only takedown of the match with 1:06 remaining and held off a late push from Parish for the 4-2 decision giving Edinboro their first lead of the night 13-10.

Ryan Burgos and Douglas Terry put on an offensive display in the first period with each wrestler scoring a takedown and an escape to make it 4-4 after one. Terry escaped to start the second and then rode out Burgos in the third to claim a 6-4 decision with the riding time point.

Max Kirby putting the Vikings back in front 17-13.

Brody Evans and Ronald Dimmerling were tied 1-1 at the end of regulation with each wrestler scoring an escape. In sudden victory, Evans scored the takedown and put Dimmerling to his back scoring a fall that put the Scots ahead 19-17.

Jared McGill made his return to the mat on Thursday and wasted little time getting to his offense. He took down JR Reed just 22 seconds into the bout and finished the fall in 48 seconds lifting the Scots to a 25-17 dual win.
