Daunte White was named the PSAC West Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against Clarion as announced by the conferene office Monday afternoon.
White had a breakout game in his first action of the 2025 season against Clarion. White was a menace in the Clarion backfield recording nine tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks.
During the Scots second half shutout of the Golden Eagles, White tallied six tackles, 3.5 for a loss and a key sack stalling out a Clarion drive deep in Edinboro territory.Â
White's 4.5 tackles for loss was the most by an Edinboro defender since Derek Dorr tallied 4.0 against Kutztown in 2018.
The Scots are back in action on Saturday when they travel to IUP for a 2 p.m. kickoff.
