BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Edinboro men's tennis team fell 4-1 to top-seeded Jefferson Saturday in the PSAC Championship match.
The Scots struck first scoring the doubles point.
Leon Grassnickel and Emil Tidman won 6-3 over Filip Slavkovic and Matt Cizmarik at the top double spot.
Fabricio Sosa Pons and
Duarte Correia were 6-3 winners over Jule Thibault and Mateos Melenchan at number three.
The Rams won all four singles matches that went the distance. Nicholas Trebuchet defeated Grassnickel 6-1, 6-3. Slavkovic put the Rams up 2-1 with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Aresen Tabaldykev.
Cizmarik earned a 6-1, 7-5 decision over
Hassan Ammar at number six and Thibault clinched the match 6-4, 7-6 over Correia.
