EDINBORO, Pa. – The Edinboro cross country teams begin the 2026 season at home with the Doug Watts Open.
The Races
The women's race begins at 11 a.m. and will be a 5K race. The men's 6K race will begin at 11:45 a.m.

Polls
The Edinboro women's cross country team was ranked second in the USTFCCCA Atlantic Region rankings. The Scots were also second in the PSAC Preseason Coaches' Poll. The Edinboro men were sixth in the PSAC Coaches' Poll.

Women's Team
The Edinboro women's cross country team made their return to NCAA Nationals in 2025. The Scots tied for the top spot in the PSAC a year ago and return four of their top five runners from last season in
Eliza Miller,
Madeline Hammond,
Kadi Bauer and
Katie Slimon. The Scots bring back a mix of experience and new faces to push the top group from last season.
Men's Team
The Fighting Scot men have grown the roster to 22 members with a mix of experience and new faces.
Ralph Antonucci led Edinboro a year ago posting an all-conference performance in 2025. The Scots will look for continued growth from their sophomore class that was highly successful as the season progressed and into track & field.
