Redshirted … finished with a 1-4 record while competing at heavyweight in two events, the CSU Open and the Purple Raider Open ... competed in Canada at FILA Junior Pan-American Championships this past summer, earning bronze medals in Greco-Roman and Freestyle at 120 kilos.

Wrestled for head coach Stephen Jones at Hewlett High School … compiled a 76-32 career record … was a two-time all-conference honoree and earned All-Long Island honors … had a 30-7 record as a senior …  finished first at Division I Section 8 qualifier at 285 lbs. … earned all-conference accolades … was 19-14 as junior and an all-conference selection … competed at 189 lbs. as a sophomore and was 11-4 as a freshman at 171 lbs. … was also a three-year starter in football.
