2014-15
Qualified for the NCAA National Championships for the first time after winning his first EWL championship at 197 lbs… ended the year with a 17-18 record, with a fall and four major decisions … went 0-2 at Nationals, with the misfortune of facing the sixth and 11th seeds … won all three of his matches at the EWL Championships, winning the title with a 5-2 decision over Clarion’s Ryan Darch … also won his second PSAC championship, going 4-0, including an 8-0 major decision over Bloomsburg’s Mike Mirra in the finals … also captured first place at the Clarion Open … was named an NWCA All-Academic performer for the second time.

2013-14
Ended the year with a 21-11 record as the starter at 197 lbs., with six falls, two technical falls, and five major decisions … finished third at the EWL Championships, winning three of four bouts … won a 9-0 major decision over Matt Meadows of George Mason in the third place match …finished second at the PSAC Championships, dropping a 7-2 decision to eighth-ranked Richard Perry of Bloomsburg in the finals … captured first place at the Edinboro Open and was also first at the MSU Open (freshman and sophomore division) … went 2-2 at the Midlands Championships … was named to the NWCA All-Academic team.

2012-13
Started at 184 lbs. as true freshman with Vic Avery redshirting … finished with a 22-15 record with seven falls, a technical fall, and five major decisions … took third place at the EWL Championships thanks to a 10-2 major decision over Sam Shirey of Bloomsburg … also finished third in the PSAC Championships with a fall at 34 seconds against Mercyhurst’s Eric Lundgren …won four of five matches in his first PSAC’s, with three pins …was also third at the MSU Open (freshman and sophomore division) … went 2-2 at the Midlands Championships.

HIGH SCHOOL
Blue-chip recruit who was a three-time Ohio place winner while wrestling at Central Crossing High School for head coach Jamiez Ramirez … had a 167-23 career record … as a senior finished second at the Division I state championships at 170 lbs., losing a 3-2 decision to Mark Martin of St. Edward in the finals … ended the season with a 40-2 record and was the Hilliard Darby sectional champion … was named the Central Ohio Division I Wrestler of the Year … placed fourth at state championships as a junior at 160 lbs., ending the year with a 50-3 record … took eighth place at 145 lbs. as a sophomore, ending the year with a 48-6 record … earned All-Metro and All-OCC accolades … was 29-12 as a freshman and a district qualifier … named a 2012 high school All-American by InterMat, ranking 18th at 170 lbs.
