2014:  Played in 10 games, starting four contests at outside linebacker … finished with 27 tackles (11 solo), with 4.5 for losses and 3 sacks … added an interception and a forced fumble … had career-high 5 tackles against both Mercyhurst and Slippery Rock, with a sack vs. SRU … posted first career interception at Clarion.

2013:  Appeared in seven games, mainly on special teams but also as a reserve linebacker and defensive back … finished with a pair of tackles, with a solo stop vs. Seton Hill and an assisted tackle against Lock Haven.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Earned ten letters at Akron Central High School, playing football for head coach Mike Dean … three-year starter for the Tigers  … in 2012 was named the Section 6 League Offensive MVP and was also a first team all-league selection at quarterback … completed 82 of 144 passes for 1,232 yards with 19 touchdowns and four interceptions, adding 1,136 yards rushing and 11 TDs on 112 carries in eight games … became just the third quarterback in western New York to run for over 1,000 yards and pass for over 1,100 yards … on defense, was a first team Class C All-State selection and also earned first team All-Western New York honors at defensive back … a finalist for the Connolly Cup as one of the top ten players in Western New York … in 2011, was a first team all-league choice at defensive back and earned second team honors in 2010 … was a three-year starter in basketball who earned second team all-league accolades as a junior and senior … team MVP junior year  … in baseball, also a three-year starter who earned second team all-league honors and set the school record for home runs in a season … also selected the team MVP.

PERSONAL:  Born May 16, 1995 … Pre-Physical Therapy major with a 3.55 GPA … son of Laura and David Mietz … has one brother (Adam) and one sister (Ashley).
