Biography

2011:  Returned after missing almost all of 2010 to start all 11 games at cornerback … finished with 36 tackles, including 3.5 for losses and a sack … tied for team lead with 4 interceptions for 54 yards, adding 5 passes broken up … also recovered two fumbles and forced a fumble, along with returning five kickoffs for an average of 18.4 yards … enters his final season with 14 career interceptions, ranking fourth in career interceptions … tied career high with 8 tackles against Slippery Rock, including 6 solo … broke up a pair of passes against The Rock … had a pair of interceptions for 32 yards vs. Merrimack … had 6 tackles, all solo, along with a tackle for a loss and an interception against Lock Haven … both fumble recoveries came at Indiana(Pa.) … earned second team Capital One Division II Academic All-America honors and was a first team Capital One District II selection.  

2010:  Saw action in just one game at West Liberty before going down with a season-ending ankle injury … turned in a big performance in his lone contest, being named the PSAC West Defensive Player of the Game after finishing with career-high 8 tackles, an interception which he returned 26 yards, and a pass broken up in Edinboro’s 20-19 upset of the seventh-ranked Hilltoppers … also blocked an extra point, the eighth blocked kick of his career.

2009:  Earned first team All-PSAC West honors and was a second team Daktronics All-Super Region One pick and third team Football Gazette All-Super Region One selection at cornerback … started all 13 games, leading the team in interceptions for the second straight year with 6 for 79 yards … that included a 27-yard touchdown return in the season opener against West Liberty … second in the PSAC in interceptions and tied for 26th in Division II … totaled 48 tackles, with one tackle for a loss … also broke up three passes and had a fumble recovery which he returned three yards for a touchdown against Clarion … also blocked four kicks, including a field goal which he picked up and returned 61 yards for a touchdown against East Stroudsburg as the half ended to give the Scots a 17-13 lead … also blocked an extra point against the Warriors … had season-high seven tackles in season opener against West Liberty, adding a pair of interceptions … was named the PSAC West Defensive Player of the Week for his play at Mercyhurst … only had three tackles, but intercepted a pass at the Boro 18 to stop a Laker drive, and later blocked a punt in the fourth quarter to set up a touchdown … earned second team ESPN The Magazine District 2 College Division Academic All-American honors.

2008:  Was named the PSAC West Freshman of the Year and was a first team All-PSAC West selection as a true freshman … started all 11 games at cornerback, ending the year with 37 tackles … led the team with 7 passes broken up and 3 interceptions and fell just shy of the school record for return yards with 176 yards … returned two of the pickoffs for touchdowns, including a 100-yarder against C.W. Post, the second-longest in school history … the interception was the first of his career, and helped him earn PSAC West Defensive Player of the Week honors … also blocked a 28-yard field goal against the Pioneers … blocked three kicks in all, blocking a pair of field goals at Lock Haven … picked off two passes against Gannon to again earn PSAC West Defensive Player of the Week accolades, returning the second 46 yards for a touchdown … had a season-high seven tackles in first career game at West Liberty State, matching that total against California(Pa.).

High School:  Three-year starter for St. Edward in football, and also earned four letters in track … earned second team All-Ohio honors as a senior … the Eagles were ranked eighth in the country his junior year … played in East vs. West All-Star Game … was a state qualifier in track and holder of four school records, including the 400-meter run, plus as a member of the 4x100 relay team, the 4x200 relay team, and the 4x400 relay team.

Personal:  Born April 3, 1990 … Elementary Education/Special Education major with a 3.65 GPA … son of Michelle Durket and Rashawn Williams … has son Elliott, born August 4, 2011 … has four sisters.
