Biography

2018
Moved from tight end to defensive end in the preseason and played in seven games … totaled 4 tackles, including a half sack, and recovered a fumble … had 3 tackles with half a sack and fumble recovery in season opener at Lake Erie … fumble recovery eventually led to a touchdown on the play by DeAndre Dowdell … qualified for the PSAC Championships for the second year in the discus, and also qualified in the javelin … posted top marks of 136’6” in the discus at the Westminster Invitational, and 167’8” in the javelin at the Red Flash Open.

2017
Appeared in nine games as a backup at tight end … finished with one reception for 24 yards, that coming against Indiana(Pa.) … returned one kickoff for three yards vs. West Chester … also competed on the outdoor track & field team … qualified for the PSAC Outdoor Championships in the discus, posting a top mark of 136’4” in the 49er Classic … also competed in the javelin, with a top mark of 163’0”, also at the 49er Classic.  

HIGH SCHOOL
Was a four-year starter for head coach Jim Shiel at Fort Cherry High School … helped the Rangers to a 9-2 record in 2016 … earned All-District honors at both tight end and defensive end as a senior … finished with 15 receptions for 164 yards, a 10.9 yard average, with 4 TDs … on defense, ranked second on the team with 68 tackles, 41 solo, with 10 TFL and 7 sacks … also a standout in basketball and track & field … earned all-conference honors in basketball … holds school record in the javelin and was an all-state performer in track.
