HIGH SCHOOL
Was a three-time PIAA qualifier and two-time placewinner while wrestling for head coach James Beach at Cambridge Springs High School … also two-time section champion, four-time District 10 finalist and two-time District 10 champion, and three-time Northwest Region Class AA champion … … compiled a 148-19 career record with 50 falls … just the second wrestler to be a three-time state qualifier, along with the only multiple regional champion in school history, and the school’s only multi district champion and four-time finalist … as a senior, finished second at PIAA Class AA State Championships at 132 lbs., just the second wrestler in school history to reach the finals and tied the highest finish ever by a Blue Devil wrestler … would end the year at 42-1, with the lone loss in the finals to Josh Jones of Saucon Valley via a 7-3 decision … the 42 wins tied the school record, and finished with 18 falls … finished fourth at the PIAA Class 2A State Championships as a junior while competing at 126 lbs., ending the year with a 38-6 record … was a Region 2 first team All-Star … won section and region championships while finishing second at District 10 Championships … as a sophomore, won section, district, and regional crowns while qualifying for states for the first time, ending the year with 37-5 record at 126 lbs. … was 31-7 as a freshman, finishing second at sectional and district championships at 120 lbs. … played one year of football and was a first team all-region safety, and also was a member of the golf team for one season.
