2011:  Joined the football team after three seasons as a wrestler, playing on the defensive line … played in four games, with two assisted tackles and took part in a tackle for a loss.

As a Wrestler:  Competes at heavyweight and has a 54-28 record after going 11-5 last year with a pair of falls, 2 technical falls and a major decision … took second place at Cleveland State Open … in 2010-11 was 13-5 with 3 falls and a major decision … placed in four open tournaments, including second at the National Collegiate Open … in 2009-10 was 30-18 with 7 falls … finished fourth in two events … was 5-7 during his redshirt year in 2008-09.

High School:  Was a standout in football and wrestling ay Philipsburg-Osceola High School, earning Pennsylvania Football News second team All-State accolades as a senior, along with being named an Altoona Mirror first team All-Star twice … wrestled for head coach Tim McCamley, finishing his senior season with a 36-8 record, placing fifth at the PIAA Class AAA state championships ... defeated Danny Estricher of Mechanicsburg, 4-2, in the fifth place match ... earlier placed second at the District 6 Tournament and was third at the Northwest Regional Tournament ... had a 25-13 record as a junior, once again finishing as the District 6 runner-up ... a two-time first team Progressland All-Star selection.
