2012: Appeared in all 10 games, starting in nine of those contests … finished as the third-leading receiver with 30 receptions for 339 yards and 2 TDs … pulled in season-high 5 passes for 36 yards against Mercyhurst, catching his first career touchdown on a seven-yard reception … added a 28-yard TD catch the next week at Clarion, finishing with 3 receptions for 90 yards … had 4 catches for 34 yards vs. Kutztown.

2011: Missed entire season after suffering season-ending shoulder injury in early preseason drills.

2010: Redshirted.

High School: Three-year starter at West Geauga High School for head coach Dave Bars … helped the Wolverines to a 9-2 record and first Division II playoff appearance as a senior … rushed 56 times for 785 yards and 16 TDs and caught 8 passes for 110 yards … earned all-conference, all-county and all-district honors … named to the All-News Herald team … also a standout in track.

Personal: Born May 12, 1992 … Accounting & Marketing major with a minor in Economics … son of Elaine and Wallace Sonnie … has two brothers and a sister … comes from an athletic family … father played football at Ohio University, brother Wally played football at Ashland and in Arena Football League, and brother Billy played baseball at Miami(Oh.).
