HIGH SCHOOL: Was a four-year starter at St. Francis High School for head coach Jerry Smith … earned first team All-Western New York honors as a junior and senior … had 81 tackles, 5 sacks and 4 interceptions as a senior and was named the Monsignor Martin Player of the Year and received the Ron Pitts Award as the best defensive back in Western New York … also accounted for 30 touchdowns rushing and passing as a quarterback for the Red Raiders … also a two-year starter in basketball.
