High School: Was a two-year starter for head coach Jeff Grubich at Kenston High School … was an honorable mention All-Ohio selection at running back as a senior, along with earning first team All-Division III honors … rushed for 1,277 yards and had 1,821 all-purpose yards with 15 TDs … was an honorable mention All-Division II pick as a junior and Northeast lakes All-District accolades … also earned two letters in track & field.  

Personal: Born May 25, 1996 … Criminal Justice major … son of Nelida Velasco and Pedro Castro.
