High School: Played for head coach Jim Wells at nearby General McLane High School … was a three-year starter for the Lancers, helping them to a 9-4 record a year ago … Lancers reached District 10 Class AAA championship game with wins over Warren and Slippery Rock before losing to Cathedral Prep … earned first team all-region honors at tight end … as a senior had 42 tackles and five sacks on defense … was also a four-year starter in wrestling and a three-year starter on the baseball team.
