In 2021 Edinboro University head football coach Jake Nulph added another talented piece to his coaching staff with the addition of Connor Cox. Cox is in his second year as the Wide Receivers Coach for the Fighting Scots. Cox will look to continue development of his talented receiving core as he implements a dynamic approach of former-player/coach perspective. 

In Cox's first season as the wide receivers coach, Edinboro increased the amount of receiving touchdowns from the previous year.
Cox is a former wide receiver for Westminster College in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference where he was selected 1^st team all decade Wide Receiver. At Westminster, he majored in Criminal Justice and graduated in 2020.

In his collegiate career, Cox broke the school record for career receptions with 151 and has the second most career receiving yards in school history with 2,169.

Cox is currently a graduate student at Edinboro and is apart of the communication studies program.
