Griffith joined the Edinboro coaching staff in the Spring of 2025.
Griffith has spent the six seasons at Western Connecticut State serving as the offensive Coordinator for the past four seasons. In 2024, the Wolves offense was prolific scoring 49.2 points per game the fourth most in Division III. The season before Western Connecticut State ranked 16th nationally in points per game with 42.8. The Wolves were also top 20 nationally in yards per game in both 2023 and 2024 with averages of 467.8 and 456.4 respectively.

Across four seasons as a play caller for the Wolves, Griffith's offense averaged 38.5 points and 419.2 yards per game. Western Connecticut State posted a 44-18 record in his tenure. Prior to being the offensive coordinator, he coached the Wolves' wide receivers. Eight Western Connecticut wide receivers were earned First-Team All-Conference honors on his watch. He was named the 2023 Region I Offensive Coordinator of the Year.
