Appeared in all 11 games, making first career start at Slippery Rock … finished with 35 tackles, with 8 tackles for losses and 1.5 sacks … blocked one kick, an extra point vs. Kutztown … had career-best 9 tackles at Slippery Rock, adding 8 tackles vs. Mercyhurst the week before with 3.5 tackles for losses and a half sack.

Redshirted as a reserve at linebacker.

HIGH SCHOOL
A three-year starter for head coach Mike Mammolitti at Williamsville North High School … finished his senior season with 108 tackles, with 17 for losses, and 4 sacks in nine games … named to All-USA New York second team second team, along with the 2016 WNY Outstanding Linebacker of the Year … was selected the 2015 WNY Underclassmen of the Year … two-time league Defensive Player of the Year … two-time All-State selection, earning second team honors as a senior and third team as a junior … also earned first team All-WNY accolades as a senior after being a third team choice as a junior … two-time All-Bee first team and a two-time Class A North All-Conference selection … also earned one letter in basketball.

Born April 23, 1999 … Business major … son of Kathleen and Dan Kelly … has three brothers (Zac, Dylan, and Mitchell) and one sister (Faith) … brother Zac is a wide receiver at Indiana(Pa.) … uncle is Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly of the Buffalo Bills ... another uncle, Pat Kelly, played for the Baltimore Colts, and his cousin, Chad Kelly, played quarterback at Mississippi and was drafted by the Denver Broncos in April 2017 and is currently in camp with Indianapolis.
