2013: Played in eight games, with five starts at left guard … missed three games due to an injury.

2012: Redshirted.

High School: Played for head coach Jeff Vroman at Philipsburg-Osceola High School, where he was a three-year starter … earned third team all-state honors on offense and was a also a first team All-Mountain Athletic Conference on both offense and defense and PSFCA East West All-Star … also an Altoona Mirror Region All-Star and Progressland All-Star … Mounties finished with a 9-3 record and reached PIAA playoffs his senior year … played nose tackle on defense and had 64 tackles, 3.5 sacks, forced five fumbles and recovered four fumbles in three years … also a two-year letterwinner in track & field.  

Personal: Born May 26, 1994 … Sports Administration major … son of LeAnne and Marvin Martell … has one brother (Lee) and one sister (Courtney).
