2013: Played in 10 contests, with seven starts … started first six games before suffering an injury and starting just once over the final five games … finished fifth on the team in tackles with 55, including 36 solo tackles … had one pass interception, broke up three passes, and recovered a fumble … had career-best 15 tackles vs. Bloomsburg, with 8 solo stops … added 11 tackles vs. Gannon, 7 of those solo … had interception against Lock Haven and broke up a pair of passes vs. Walsh.

2012: Started all 10 games at strong safety, ending the year as the third-leading tackler with 73 stops … broke up 4 passes and had an interception … posted career-high 11 tackles in back-to-back weeks against Indiana(Pa.) and Slippery Rock … added lone interception of the year plus two passes broken up against SRU … also in double figures in season opener at Bloomsburg with 10 tackles … had 8 hits in season-finale vs. Kutztown, with 7 tackles in three other games.

2011: Earned starting role in preseason camp and proceeded to start all 11 games at strong safety despite never playing defense in high school … finished tied for fifth in tackles with 39, along with 1.5 tackles for losses … had an interception, that coming in his first career game against West Liberty, along with a pair of forced fumbles and 2 fumble recoveries … returned a fumble 15 yards for a touchdown against Slippery Rock … had season-high 7 tackles against Clarion … added 5 tackles with a pass broken up at California(Pa.) and 5 more with a half-tackle for a loss and a forced fumble vs. Indiana(Pa.) and 5 tackles and a forced fumble against Gannon.

High School: Played quarterback for head coach D.J. Oglivie at Boardman High School … completed 33 of 65 passes for 384 yards and rushed for 108 yards and three TDs on 44 carries as a senior … added four receptions for 81 yards and a touchdown … was a Big 22 nominee … helped the Spartans to a 6-4 record in 2010 and 7-4 finish in 2009, losing to St. Ignatius in regional quarterfinal … also started three seasons for the Spartans' basketball team and is the school’s assist leader … competed one season in track & field.
