2012: Saw action in six games, mostly on special teams, but did see some action as a reserve tight end … did not record ant statistics.

High School: Competed in football, basketball and track & field at McDowell High School … played for head coach Mark Soboleski in football, earning honorable mention WPIAL Quad A All-North honors at punter as a senior after averaging 32.4 yards on 21 punts … tied for team lead with 8 catches for 120 yards and 4 TDs … as a junior was a second team WPIAL Quad A All-South choice at punter, averaging 33.3 yards on 21 punts … tied for second on team with 2 receptions for 8 yards … played in Save-An-Eye All-Star Game … in basketball was a second team All-Region pick and played in City-County All-Star Game … finished third in shot put at District 10 Track & Field Championships.

Personal: Born November 3, 1992 … Sociology major … son of Trina and Paul Mayr … has two sisters, including Nicole, who was a member of Edinboro’s track & field team.
