Biography

Has been named to two preseason All-American squads after leading Division II in interceptions per game in 2017 … is a Lindy’s Sports College Football National 2018 Preview second team selection and a College Football America 2018 Yearbook choice … has 14 career interceptions, which ranks sixth at Edinboro.
 
2017
Led Division II in interceptions per game and earned All-American honors while starting all 11 games at cornerback … earned first team Don Hansen Football Gazette All-American accolades and was a first team Don Hansen Football Gazette Super Region I honoree, along with earning second team D2CCA All-Super Region I honors and being named to the All-PSAC West second team … ended the year tying the school-record with 9 interceptions, picking off his ninth pass against Cheyney in the season finale … also set a new school record for return yardage with 201 yards …returned two of the interceptions for touchdowns, a 61-yarder vs. Lake Erie and a 35-yarder against Clarion … finished fifth on the team in tackles with 59, with two for losses … in addition to nine interceptions, he broke up 10 passes, and ranked third in the PSAC and fourth in Division II in passed defended … added a fumble recovery, a forced fumble, and blocked a field goal, that coming against …. had three pickoffs vs. Lake Erie, one shy of the school record, for 84 yards, and added a pair of interceptions for 70 yards vs. Clarion … was named the PSAC West C-Defensive Player of the Week following the Clarion game … had an interception and broke up four passes at Cheyney … finished with a season-high 9 tackles at West Chester, with a tackle for a loss, a forced fumble, an interception, and a pass breakup … also had 9 tackles and a pair of breakups vs. Slippery Rock, plus 8 tackles vs. Indiana(Pa.).
 
2016
Started all 11 games at cornerback, finishing with 48 tackles … was fourth on the team with 32 solo tackles … had a team-leading 5 interceptions for 78 yards, including a 27-yard return for a touchdown at Clarion … tied for third in the PSAC in interceptions and was tied for ninth in passes defended … also had a team-high 6 passes broken up, along with 2 tackles for losses and a forced fumble … averaged 8.6 yards on nine punt returns, and returned six kickoffs for a 17.5 yard average … posted a career-high 10 tackles, including one for a loss, against West Chester … added 7 tackles against Saint Joseph’s, Slippery Rock, and Seton Hill, adding two interceptions vs. Seton Hill … had an interception return for 43 yards and a pair of passes broken up at Lock Haven.  
 
2015
Played in all 11 games, starting three of the last four games at cornerback … totaled 31 tackles, with 19 solo … had 1.5 tackles for losses and a sack, while finishing second on the team with 4 passes broken up … also led the team with 3 forced fumbles and 2 fumble recoveries … was tied for first in the PSAC in fumbles forced and ranked sixth in fumble recoveries … had a season-high 8 tackles against Slippery Rock, with a forced fumble and a fumble recovery … added 5 tackles against both Gannon and Mercyhurst, with a sack and a fumble recovery vs. the Lakers … broke up two passes at East Stroudsburg.
 
HIGH SCHOOL
Played for head coach Keith Molinich at Pittsford Mendon High School, while also playing basketball and baseball … played with Edinboro teammates Jack Wallman, Hayes Wallman, and Nick Polizzi at Pittsford … earned first team All-Monroe County Division I honors and a second team All-Greater Rochester accolades … helped the Panthers to a 6-4 record as a senior, advancing to the Sectional Championship game before losing to Victor … Pittsford was 6-3 in 2013.
