Won the 800-meter run at the Charlotte 49er Classic with a time of 1:51.94 ... also posted a third place finish at the invite in the 1,500-meter run at 3:51.38 ... posted second place marks in the 800-meter run at the Tennessee Rust Buster (1:50.53) and the 49er Classic (1:52.00).
2016 (Outdoor)
Competed in two events at the PSAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships ... won the 800-meter run with a time of 1:52.30 ... also captured a first place finish in the 1,500-meter run at 3:59.39 ... finished third in the 4 x 400-meter relay at the Rochester Spring Invite at 3:29.69 ... posted a ninth place finish at the Hillsdale Gina Relays in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:53.46 ... competed in the 4 x 800-meter relay at the Raleigh Relays, coming in 10th place at 7:50.79.
2016 (Indoor)
Won the mile run at the Edinboro Invitational with a time of 4:18.71 ... also captured a second place finish at the invite in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:53.79 … came in sixth place in the 1-mile run at the SPIRE Midwest Indoor T&F Open at 4:20.36.
2015 (Outdoor)
Competed in two events at the PSAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships ... won the 800-meter run with a time of 1:52.88 … finished fifth in the 4 x 400-meter relay at 3:19.33 … captured first place in the 800-meter run at the SRU Open with a time of 1:56.25 ... finished fourth in the 4 x 400-meter relay at the Charlotte 49er Classic with a time of 3:20.53 ... also competed in the 800-meter run, coming in eighth place at 1:55.05 ... posted a fifth place finish in the 1,500-meter run at the Dave Labor Invitational with a time of 4:06.20.
2015 (Indoor)
Won the 4 x 800-meter relay at the SPIRE Midwest Indoor T&F Open with a time of 8:11.17 ... finished fifth in the 4 x 400-meter relay at the Kent State Tune-Up at 3:28.55.
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Maple Grove Senior High School in Bemus Point, N.Y…. four-sport athlete that earned six letters in Track & Field, five in Cross Country, three in Basketball, and one in Baseball… All-State in Track & Field in 2014 and the 800 meters State Champion with a time of 1:54.6, which would have been second out of all divisions… Ran a personal best of 1:53.89 in the 800 meters, 4:17.29 for the 1,600 meters placing 12
th overall and third in Division 2 at the New York State Championships in 2014, and 9:30 for 3,200 meters which placed him 17
th in the state in 2013… Averaged 19 points per game en route to First Team All-County in Basketball… the Red Dragons were four-year Section B Champions in Cross Country during Wefing’s career… earned All-State honors in Cross Country in 2012 and 2013.
