  • Started all twelve games for the Fighting Scots, collecting six hits, five runs, two doubles, and two RBI's.
  • Season shortened due to COVID-19.
2019
Played in 36 games, with 33 starts in the outfield … hit .226 with 21 hits in 93 at bats … ranked third on the team with 25 runs … had 2 doubles and a triple … drove in 12 runs … ranked second on the team with 12 stolen bases in 13 attempts … had five games with a pair of hits, including a 2-for-3 effort with 2 RBIs in PSAC playoff contest vs. Shippensburg (5/2/19) … went 2-for-3 with 3 runs scored and an RBI vs. Mercyhurst (4/28/19), and was 2-for-5 with 3 runs scored against Slippery Rock (4/7/19) … scored 4 runs vs. Clarion (3/24/19), and had 2 stolen bases against Minnesota State Mankato (3/3/19).

Played in 25 games, with 21 starts in the outfield … hit .135, with 8 hits in 60 at bats … was fifth on the team with 11 runs scored, and was third on the team in stolen bases with 7 in 7 attempts … had a double and a triple while driving in 5 runs … had two multiple-hit games, including a 2-for-4 effort with a triple and 3 RBIs, plus a stolen base vs. Silver Lake (3/15/18) … went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI against Slippery Rock (4/22/18).

Appeared in 19 games, with 10 starts … hit .167 with 5 hits in 30 at bats … scored 7 runs and drove in one run … stole 5 bases in 6 attempts … went 1-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI, adding a stolen base, against Mercyhurst (4/8/17).

HIGH SCHOOL
Was a three-year starter and four-year letterwinner for head coach Hanna Cox, a former Fighting Scot, at General McLane High School … was a three-time All-Region honoree, earning first and second team honors as an outfielder, and second team as a designated player … also earned four letters in soccer and one in basketball.

Born October 1, 1997 … Business Marketing major … daughter of Amy and Dan Gierlak … has one brother (Joey) and one sister (Alex) … father is Edinboro’s softball coach and played football at Edinboro, and mother was also a standout for the Fighting Scots in softball … sister played softball at Edinboro and brother played baseball at Clarion and is currently a volunteer coach for the Fighting Scots.
