Appeared in 30 games, including 13 starts in the offense and five starts in the circle…batted .195 with eight hits and 14 RBIs…recorded two doubles and a homerun…was 1-for-1 with a grand slam against Gannon (3/24/15)…posted one multi-hit outing, going 2-for-2 with an RBI and a double against Clarion (3/9/15)…recorded a 6-3 record in the circle…pitched 61.1 innings, posting a 6-3 record with 53 strikeouts and a team-leading 2.05 ERA…picked up two saves…pitched two complete games, including a complete game shutout against Clarion, giving up just two hits and striking out seven (3/9/15)…struck out a career-high nine batters against Mansfield (3/8/15)…Fighting Scots were 5-0 when Payne pitched at least five innings.

2014
Appeared in 14 games with 13 starts before missing rest of the season with injury … batted .344 with two doubles, two home runs, 10 RBI and six runs scored … hit game-winning two-run home run in the top of the seventh inning in 3-2 win at Fairmont State on March 20 … posted three multi-hit games, including a 2-for-4 performance with two RBI in 10-5 victory at Coker on March 17 … had a 1.000 fielding percentage with seven assists and four putouts … also made three appearances and started one game in the circle for the Fighting Scots … posted a 1-0 record and 0.00 ERA with five strikeouts in 9.2 innings of work … tossed a complete-game shutout with four strikeouts, scattering four hits across seven innings in a win over West Virginia State on March 16.  

HIGH SCHOOL
Was a PIAA Class AA All-State Honorable Mention selection for her father James Payne at Bellwood-Antis High School … Blue Devils captured 2013 Inter-County North Conference title …holds school record with 601 career strikeouts … was also named to the Altoona Mirror 6-A First Team as a senior.

Born January 10, 1995 ... Chemistry major ... daughter of Wendy and James Payne ... has one sister (Ashtyn) ... cousin Jeff Frye played baseball at Arkansas.
